• New Student Enrollment for the 2021-2022 School Term (is closed) - For students who are new to DeSoto ISD (not enrolled in an DeSoto ISD school on the last day of the prior school year), enrollment is available now. Follow the instructions below for online or in-person options.
   
• Returning Student Enrollment for the 2021-2022 School Term(is closed)  For students who are returning (enrolled at any DeSoto ISD school on the last day of the prior school year), registration is now open. Log into Parent Portal to enroll. 

For online registration, You MUST have Google Chrome. If you do not currently have Google Chrome installed on your computer, please CLICK HERE to download it. 

New Student Online Enrollment

To be classified as new to the district, a student must NOT have been enrolled in a DeSoto ISD school on the last day of the prior school year. In order to enroll your child as a new student in DeSoto ISD, please complete the following steps:

STEP 1: Register for Parent Portal by clicking here

STEP 2: Gather Required Documents: In order to enroll a student, you will need to make sure you have all of the required documents. You may either scan the documents to your computer and upload them using our online enrollment system, or you may bring them to the school for copies to be made. 

Please note: Registration is NOT complete until all documents are verified at the school. These documents include:

• Original copy of Birth Certificate 
• Immunization Records (must show child's name) 
• Social Security Card 
• Report Card/Transcripts(If available)
• Proof of Residency (Current water, gas, or electricity bill) within las 30 Days
• Driver's License

STEP 3: Login to the Student Online Registration page by clicking here and register your student(s) and verify each student is listed under your parent account.

• Full name of the requesting parent/guardian
• Full name of each child that is currently attending DeSoto ISD
• Campus and grade level of each child
• Birthdate of each child
• Student ID (5 digit code) of each child (if known)
